you may not speak it as fluently as your brilliant visual child. But you can definitely get by with your “tourist” pocket dictionary.

Take a few minutes to “Stage” items in prime colors in the order of the rainbow and you will see how this immediately catches your child’s attention and they are interested and involved and they choose to initiate and play with what you secretly preplanned before they entered the room.

All you have to do is tell them what a great idea they had and join in with their initiative! Make sure you look at what they choose to do and perhaps you will improve your understanding of how a rainbow is formed and why the colors are in the order that they are. Most importantly, have fun together!
